NEW Tatting Lace Workshops

We’re very excited about our upcoming Tatting Lace Workshops, which are set to teach you a wonderful craft, fashioned by the Royal family throughout British history. Luxurious and delicate, handmade lace was the essential accessory for Queen Victoria herself !

Lace is part of the proud heritage of Nottingham, a material which has inspired the collections of many of our designers, and something which we’re celebrating under the season of LACE:HERE:NOW.

The workshops will be held by paper artist and tatting expert Phiona Richards, as seen on Kirstie Allsop’s Handmade Britain. Phiona, who was a big hit at our Speed Craft event in 2012 and will be returning to Speed Craft 2013 on 27th April.

Phoina will be teaching you how to ‘flip’ and make the basic knots required to produce something lovely to take away from the day.

The date of these workshops is Saturday 9th March;
* Tatting Lace 10 – 1pm, £45
* Tatting Lace 2- 5pm, £45

This is a small workshop for 4 people. To book your place please call us or call in person to Debbie Bryan Studio & Shop. Workshop places can also be purchased as gift cards to give to a friend! So there’s no need to come alone, share an experience with someone special.
