Latest from Karlsruhe

At the beginning of May, Debbie took part in a group trip back to Karlsruhe in Germany as part of the Creative Twinning Project.  This time the group was made up of ten designers from across Nottingham and the East Midlands, generously supported by Design Factory.
Hayley Banks from Design Factory came along to make links with creative organisations from across Baden Württemberg and beyond... And Mandi Chandler, Kate Bright and Georgina Gillen from South Nottingham College joined too, to see what opportunities exist and look into setting up a student exchange.

Highlights of the trip included a guided tour of the University of Arts and Design (HfG) by Professor Ludger Pfanz and a visit to ZKM Media Museum.

Then the finale at Eunique Applied Arts Fair was a huge success.  Well done to all participating designers - Porcellana &Duomo, Foto Ceramica, JC Middlebrook, Ashi Marwaha, Catherine Carr , Rachel Helen Designs, Gillian Lee Smith, Paperwork and Suet Yi Yip - Many of whom stock our shop!
And the same again to our German Twins - Angelika, Brigitte, Nora and Philine!

Everyone's stand looked great and we recieved a huge amount of positive feedback, (including Anja's lovely blog) so watch the Creative Twinning Blog for developments!
