Books on local history and heritage..

Recognise the building on the bottom right of this book cover?  Thanks to Nottingham Civic Society, we are now stocking a collection of signed books covering subjects such as local history, heritage and architecture... Pop in and grab a copy to discover more about Nottingham.  It's amazing what you can find out about the building just across the road from our shop!

Embroidered Linen Scarves

New in!  We've been inspired yet again by our fascinating collection of original Nottingham Lace draftsman's drawings and created a collection of sylish linen scarves.  Each scarf is embroidered with a design found on the original drawings, and hand dyed in vibrant colours for a contemporary edge.
Rich in heritage, quality and history, our linen fabric is woven in Northern Ireland and proudly bears the Irish Linen Guild 'carpet beater symbol' (as it’s colloquially called) - the mark of true Irish Linen. Our industry partner has been established since 1854 and uses fine raw materials, skilled weavers, advanced loom technology and careful finishing to create our fabrics.

Our growing heritage...

The Debbie Bryan Heritage Collection has expanded...
For those of us who maybe don't dine at a table very regularly (or worry about a tablecloth getting ruined!) we've developed a range of mounted lace to show it off safely and securely behind glass on your wall...
We also have a collection of hand embroidered limited edition prints of our original draftsman's lace drawings.
Further examples of our lace tablecloths are on display (and for sale) in the shop, in both circular and rectangular designs... And placemats and small squares of lace suitable as coasters are also available.
From April these collections will not only be available in our Lace Market Shop, but also, excitingly, at Nottingham Castle Gallery Shop & Wollaton Park, with exclusive brooches inspired directly by these historic locations.

Dates for the diary!

In addition to our wonderfully creative cake-filled workshops, we're planning and participating in the following events later in the year... Watch this space for more details!
