Planning a wedding?

Looking for something a bit different?  Join us for free at our shop from 12-3pm on Sunday 27th November for an opportunity to try on, sample and plan the details that will make your special day truly unique.  Enjoy the surroundings of our lovely shop with a bit of tea and cake... and we'll maybe throw in some confetti!

Nottingham Lace

We've recently extended our heritage collection to include a range of cotton lace fabric and tablecloths.  All are original Nottingham Lace designs created locally by the firm who made Kate Middleton's wedding dress lace... You can choose your own design and have a tablecloth made to order so it fits your precise requirements, or just pick one up in the shop... and our trims are available to buy by the 1/2 metre.

We also have our fascinating framed and unframed industry lace drawings and framed vintage Nottingham lace samples.  These were created by Fewkes who were the last lace producers in Nottingham and created Lady Diana's wedding dress lace.  For more information pop into the shop, or give us a ring on 0115 9507776.
